Doll's Dress and Precious Pockets Pinafore

a Martha Pullen-Pfaff Licensed Project

Martha Pullen writes about this project:

I adore making doll clothes and this dress and pinafore are sure to please little girls of all ages. The pinafore is of white batiste with the sweetest pockets you could ever ask for. The tops are finished with Swiss entredeux and gathered lace. Machine shadowed hearts are found on the pockets and on the bodice of the pinafore. Ribbon ties tie the pinafore shut on the shoulders and a little button closes the back of the pinafore which dips down to the doll's waistine. Entredeux attaches a fabric and flat lace edging ruffle at the bottom. A pretty little blue dress with several rows of machine stitching goes underneath this pinafore.
