a Martha Pullen-Pfaff Licensed Project
Martha Pullen writes about this project:
Reverse tucks are used on the crown of this batiste bonnet giving it a unique beauty. The tucks are stitched down with a pretty machine feather stitch--this small feather stitch is also found at the back of the set of five tucks. The front of the bonnet is finshed with entredeux and gathered lace. The bonnet back is folded back and has a casing with a pretty white ribbon. Straight lace edging and decorative feather stitching finish the back mock ruffle.
