a Martha Pullen-Pfaff Licensed Project
Martha Pullen writes about this project:
One of my students from the school came into my office and saw this blouse for our Pfaff licensing. She said, "I love THAT BLOUSE! I would really wear it." This lady loves tailored clothes and suits. She further commented that she would love one of these blouses to wear with a tailored jacket and pants. THAT BLOUSE is truly a masterpiece--no one would ever know making it could be so easy. Besides using lots of Pfaff embroidery, it also has French lace mitered and curved. Lots of interesting decorative stitching is found on it, as well as one which stitches and attaches silk ribbon at the same time. The beautiful "v" shape in the front of the blouse, combined with the straight line of decorative stitching traveling to the bottom, is very slenderizing. The fabric is ecru linen and the laces and machine embroideries are also ecru. Ecru wing needle baby daisy entredeux is used for the hem on the sleeves. What a tailored way to enjoy heirloom sewing for women of all sizes.
